Job Description

The Senior Manager, Financial Systems will serve as the product owner for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and the ability to manage large, high-demand projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the ERP system's functionality, ensuring it meets the company's financial reporting and operational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Serve as the Product Owner for the ERP system, defining the vision and roadmap for the system's development and enhancements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and align the ERP system's development with strategic business objectives.

  • Ensure the ERP system accurately reflects accounting principles and financial data.

  • Manage the ERP project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects.

  • Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve project milestones.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting project updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in financial systems and ERP technologies, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades.

  • Lead and manage the ERP support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of tickets and issues.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and quality of the ERP system and its related applications, databases, and integrations.

  • Identify and implement improvements and enhancements to the ERP system and its processes, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide training and guidance to end-users and support staff on the ERP system and its functionalities.

  • Develop and maintain documentation and best practices for the ERP system and its support procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations for the ERP system and its data security.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in managing ERP systems.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage high-demand projects.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.

$132,090.00 - $220,150.00
