Your Role:

The Network Performance Analysis and Contracts is part of the Provider Partnerships & Network Management Division and focuses on provider network performance analysis, reporting, and consulting. The Data Analyst - Health, Experienced will report to the Manager, Data Analysis. In this role you will provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations.as well as guide tactical and strategic actions using the best-in-class analyses and robust analytic tools.

Your Work:

In this role, you will:

• Develop, prepare, and analyze reports, analyses, and data for management review, and present to various levels of management
• Support BSC's key hospital negotiations using robust analytic tools. Translate data analysis into insightful and actionable items for internal customers
• Produce hospital and IPA negotiation checklists using a variety of analytic tools and data sources
• Collaborate with and support other teams such as network managers by developing provider negotiation analysis and reports
• Continuously collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to identify enhancement opportunities to improve efficiency and quality
• Manage projects that may involve coordinating a team and working with different stakeholders
• Assist in designing, maintaining, and updating of provider contracting roadmap and pre-negotiation support sources
• Independently writes reports and presents data in formats such as abstracts, graphs, or summaries
• Produce executive level presentations and reports for internal and external customers
• Provide support for analysis and/or report development
• Assist senior analysts with data analysis and projects
• Ad hoc assignments as requested

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of prior relevant experience with 1 year in health care.
• Healthcare analytics experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, previous experience in presenting to mid to senior leaders.
• Good business acumen, ability to work in a team environment.
• Good math, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (able to model, use formula, design dashboard).
• Word, Access (link tables, run queries, create macros and reporting), and PowerPoint.
• SAS and SQL knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently, proactively and with little direction and limited oversight.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 71280.00 to $ 99770.00 for California.
