What you'll do:

You'll join a group of talented professionals and practice in a modern, dynamic, state-of-the-art clinic, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, visual and medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote good eye health through patient education. With 22 exams completed daily and 16 refractive exams. You'll have access to Visual Field, Optos, and OCT. You'll also travel to multiple locations for fill in as needed.

Who we're seeking:

Alpert Vision Care is looking for a skilled Optometrist with experience in ocular diseases and treatments and a strong interest in recommending appropriate vision products tailored to patient needs. The ideal candidate has experience with MiSight, Ortho-k, and proactively seeks new developments in the optical industry and diagnostic technology to ensure patients receive precise diagnoses and optimal treatments. You're kind, driven, and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time, 32 hours for 4 days per week. Candidates must be licensed in the state of California.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
