Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Special Assets Officer for an opportunity with a client located in Santa Rosa, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Executing loan workouts, overseeing bankruptcy and foreclosure processes in compliance with both internal policies and relevant regulations
• Working closely with borrowers and Loan Officers to formulate actionable recovery strategies, maintaining vigilant oversight of financial performance and collateral value
• Engaging in property management tasks such as inspections and coordinating sales efforts through partnerships with the real estate professionals
• Supervising litigation matters in conjunction with Bank legal counsel, ensuring strategic direction and the maximization of recoveries
• Manage complex loan workouts, negotiation processes, and asset liquidation, steering these critical processes to favorable outcomes
• Be instrumental in the SBA liquidation process, setting the stage for successful actions that ensure payments and guarantees
• Exercise a high level of autonomy in creating management reports, updating business continuity plans, and refining department policies

Requirements:

• Familiarity with SBA servicing and liquidation processes
• A general understanding of lending practices across various loan types
• Expertise in bankruptcy, foreclosure laws, SBA procedures, and real estate finance
• Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in problem-solving
• In-depth experience with complex credit administration and special asset resolutions
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, accounting, or a related field, supplemented with respective five (5-10) years of experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and computer skills are a must
