As one of our Key Account Managers, you will be part of a dynamic inside sales team that supports key domestic and international customers. We believe customer success is key to increased sales and growing business. Managing established and new accounts plus creating new cable and cable assembly business opportunities are the primary focus of this rewarding account management position.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3-5 years, inside sales experience and/or customer management experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving/decision-making skills, ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions with confidence
  • Prior experience in the interconnect space, or in manufacturing is a plus

What will you be Accountable for?

  • Growing revenue of existing and new business
  • Understanding of sales principles, ability to research, analyze and negotiate
  • Year over year Improvement of Standard Direct Margin across all customers
  • Total Quality Acchievent (TQA) Wins
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Engage with the client at the early stage to qualify the lead with design details and scope of project
  • Coordinate customer requirements, design and cost with Winchester engineering and submit quote to customer
  • Process new orders into the database system
  • Provide the customer with updates on delivery and order status


How will you Collaborate?

By taking the initiative to create a regular cadence with internal (Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR) and external (Outside Sales Team) team members to support them and drive results. Also by utilizing Google hangouts, face-to-face meetings, email, and other communications to clarify and align at a regular cadence. Always seeking to align using one source of the truth for data. Everyone makes decisions from the same data.

  • Identify areas to invest in order to streamline our key critical processes with the intent for long term cost out while improving the customer experience
  • Change and simplify processes as required to eliminate non-value added activity that gets in the way of achieving results
  • Utilize resources to create collaboration & customer plans
  • Utilize all appropriate available resources to support meeting objectives
  • Communicate with the team at a cadence that makes expectations and performance clear

Average salary range of $70,000 up to 85,000 (DOE), plus benefits.
