As a CNC Machinist in our Morgan Hill, CA office you will have responsibility for the assignment planning, layout, set up, operating and making tool adjustments for the CNC Lathe or Screw Machine. We are looking for candidates to work both the day and/or swing shift. You will work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. May communicate directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly. Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances. May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions. This position will be reporting to the Machining Center Manager based in Morgan Hill, CA.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 year experience set-up and running CNC Lathe Screw Machines or CNC Lathe Machines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

In order to be successful in this role, the following competencies and behavior skills are required:

• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, written and verbal instructions.
• Must have basic general shop mathematics.
• Must possess mechanical aptitude skills.

The annual base salary range for this position is $21/hr - $34/hr. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
