How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The High Purity Packaging and Delivery Systems Technician position belongs to Packaging Development and Technology group, whose mission is to interface across various work areas and organizations to design, develop, test and troubleshoot advanced ampoules and vessels for Chemical Vapor Deposition and Atomic Layer Deposition, and assess the performance of the associated processes and operations. He/she will play an essential role in devising and performing appropriate testing, as well as ensuring the lab is running safely and smoothly.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive a culture of "Do It Safely, Do It Right the First Time" with their actions and their words daily.

  • Prepare complicated canister (coating, cleaning, assembly...) for CTD group

  • Perform laboratory testing for integrity and performance of such developed packaging and delivery systems

  • Perform failure analysis and work with quality department on Failure Analysis related to packaging performance.

  • Follow the guidelines related to lab notebooks, best practices, data storage and backup

  • Build and implement new test setup to perform different types of testing on packaging.

  • Identify improvement and implement changes related to packaging and packaging handling.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop internal and external solutions for semiconductor packaging technologies.

  • Successfully complete all required trainings

  • Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds

Required Qualifications:

  • HS degree or diploma

  • Safely and efficiently operates their assigned processes to meet the day-to-day quality

  • Good mechanical skills with experience building and assembling valve, manifolds, test setup.

  • Good communication skills.

  • A team player who puts safety first.

  • Be able to read, understand a Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)

  • Being able to draw a P&ID is a plus.

  • Motivated to gradually take on additional responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience working on hardware and equipment in the semiconductor industry or related field.

  • Understand all the different types of packaging used in the industry.

  • Understand analytical equipment to perform safely tests vessels with live products.

  • Understanding of how the packaging is used on semiconductor processing tools, and the associated performance metrics

  • Knowledge on AutoCAD software.

  • Knowledge on using SolidWorks.

  • Experience with the handling of air and moisture sensitive molecules, and hazardous chemicals including both solids and liquids.
