Your role at Baxter
  • The Connect Solutions Application Engineer (CSAE) will be responsible for onsite management of Care Communications Solutions.

  • You will work closely with UC Irvine Health (UCI) and Baxter teams.

  • Our products support continuous efforts to improve patient care and increase caregiver efficiency using the latest mobile devices.

What you'll be doing
  • Develops a strong understanding of the entire Care Communications Solution including technical architecture and product offerings.

  • Develops strong, long-lasting end-user relationships, which are referenceable, including growing adoption, ensuring retention, driving overall satisfaction and renewal of software and services.

  • Communicates with project stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • Available for critical issues as defined in the assigned Service Level Agreement (SLA).

  • Assists in identifying and developing standard processes for the Care Communications solution, management, training, and support.

  • Knowledge of Care Communications Web Admin portal with the ability to maintain and edit directory as agreed upon by the assigned hospital.

  • Understands and communicates the Care Communications support process with the ability to assist in resolving/troubleshooting issues (pulling logs, replicating issues, documenting findings, etc.).

  • Develop, update, and deliver training for new hospital staff at UC Irvine Health (UCI).

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years of equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience in healthcare or IT within a customer-facing role.

  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal and verbal skills and be able to work with frontline nursing, physicians and point of care support services staff.

  • Must have experience supporting and troubleshooting computer hardware and software in healthcare, preferably with nursing point-of-care solutions.

  • Experience within a software or communications industry (preferred).

  • Practical knowledge of healthcare industry (preferred).

  • Network+ Certification or other applicable technical certifications (preferred)

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
