Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's (LBNL) Materials Sciences Division has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join the team.
Berkeley Lab is leading a new Energy Frontier Research Center-Center for High Precision Patterning Science (CHiPPS)-that brings together a cross-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers to advance precision patterning science for next generation microelectronics. The postdoctoral researcher will lead the synthesis and assembly of novel metal-organic photoresists that are activated by extreme ultraviolet (EUV) radiation to generate and confine chemical patterns at the nanoscale for subsequent pattern transfer into various substrates.
The Postdoctoral researcher will be mentored by Brett Helms (Energy Sciences Area, including the Materials Sciences Division and the Molecular Foundry) and Sam Blau (Energy Technologies Area). These activities will be supported and enriched by other researchers in the EFRC, whose efforts encompass advanced theory and characterization.
