Job Description
METI is seeking a Program Manager to ensure projects align seamlessly with organizational goals and surpass client expectations. You'll steer daily program activities, optimizing efficiency and maintaining impeccable quality standards. You will orchestrate smooth operations, conduct on-site visits, manage resources, and mitigate risks. Additionally, you'll jet-set for business development and skillfully manage vendor relationships. As a key player in our team, you'll excel in performance reviews, provide crucial updates in senior management meetings, and efficiently handle administrative tasks to keep programs thriving. This position is contingent upon the award of a contract.

Duties:
  • Lead daily program management activities throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client expectations.
  • Coordinate project activities and interdependencies to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with DOD-COR and civilian clients/agencies to align deliverables with program outcomes, maintain operating standards, and conduct regular on-site visits for quality assurance purposes.
  • Develop comprehensive program plans and oversee their execution, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Efficiently manage program resources, including cost tracking, forecasting, procurement, vendor invoice processing, and scheduling.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary and promptly reporting operational, scheduling, deadline, and staffing concerns.
  • Oversee document management activities, ensuring timely completion and submission of reports, staff certification tracking, form completion, filing, invoice and receipt submission, etc.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements as required for program activities.
  • Engage in business development initiatives, including attending annual conferences and workshops.
  • Source and manage vendors to support program requirements.
  • Conduct performance reviews for program staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Participate in senior management meetings as necessary, providing updates on program financials, schedules, deliverables, and other pertinent information to guide decision-making.
  • Execute all other administrative tasks associated with program management as needed to ensure program success.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance and have the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in business development, project management, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of five (5) years of consecutive work experience as a program/project manager in the contracting industry, specifically with the following DoD agencies (e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force), and/or Federal Civilian agencies, will be considered.
  • Must have an understanding of D.O.D. requirements and F.A.R. regulations.
  • Must have experience in OSHA, workers' compensation, and workplace safety document management and reporting.
  • Must have experience in managing service subcontractors as required.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and DocuSign.
  • Travel is required as needed to visit and/or monitor staff at associated program worksites.
