The Marketing & Proposal Coordinator will work in NV5's Clean Energy Group and report to the Proposal & Marketing Manager. This motivated individual will develop and manage quality proposals and presentations in a deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate must be an organized, detail-oriented, self-starter with a passion for producing top-quality proposals while serving our clients with a good mix of professionalism and creativity. This position will support our San Rafael office. Experience working with firms in the energy, environmental, engineering, or consulting sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities
    Manage opportunities in Deltek CRM, including reviewing lists, running weekly marketing reports, adding and monitoring entries, and updating contact information.
  • Review and summarize incoming bid opportunities and distribute to business development team as appropriate.
  • Analyze RFP requirements and identify and coordinate all internal and external resources required for proposal completion. Write, design, and integrate materials into persuasive proposals that reflect our distinctive capabilities to meet clients' needs.
  • Write, proofread, and edit marketing collateral, presentations, conference abstracts, award submissions, and other documents.
  • Create, update and maintain marketing collateral materials and content libraries, including brochures, banners, project sheets, resumes, graphics, and non-technical supporting narratives.
  • Work with internal project managers, technical staff, and marketing staff across the firm to gather content for proposals and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage office supplies, food orders, water delivery, and employee equipment needs.
  • Direct main office phone calls and general inbox emails.
  • Manage office mail, corporate credit card purchases, and receipts. Interface with office property managers and landlords as needed.
  • Plan and manage team meetings, events, and holiday parties.
  • Maintain and update various company databases tracking projects, software, equipment, trade organizations, and passwords.
  • May perform other duties to meet the operational needs of the firm.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, English (Preferred)
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and is comfortable working in a fast, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and Adobe CC Programs - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Experience and interest in clean energy, clean transportation, or engineering consulting is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

This position is open to candidates located near San Rafael, CA. Local employees are currently expected to be physically in the San Rafael office on Monday and Wednesday each week unless otherwise instructed and permitted to work remotely on other days.

The pay range for this position in California is $28.85 - $38.47 per hour. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
