Under general supervision, provides clinical and administrative support to the Dermatology Department. Sets priorities, coordinates work of the unit and assists in establishing new work methods and procedures. Duties include assisting with motility procedures; support of equipment (processing and maintenance); provide patient care support for appointments; scheduling clinic and procedural visits, answer phones, fill physician block times, maintain statistics, order supplies, utilize computer system, maintain referral database, provide customer service assistance to the staff, physicians, and patients; provide coverage assistance as needed to other procedural areas. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThree (3) years of appropriate experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of third-party payors including federal, state, and private health plans.
Strong problem-solving ability by using good.
Proficient computer skills and be able to work between multiple systems during calls.
Ability to work in an interactive environment and possess excellent customer service skillsboth in person and over the phone.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Previous Dermatology experience.
Be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
EPIC registration experience.
Bachelor's Degree.
Medical terminology training and/or certificate.
Knowledge and experience in Dermatology.
High-level disinfection experience.
Bilingual: English/Spanish.

Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54
