Responsibilities

This role assumes day to day accountability for all facets of clinic operations, with a strong emphasis on managing patient access and throughput, provider productivity, staffing, and medical group support services. Facilitates an atmosphere of participative management and the development of collegial relationships with Physicians and Advance Practice Providers and hospital leadership. Will be visible, accessible, and committed to communicating effectively with providers, hospital leadership, and staff. Financial responsibilities include ownership and management of clinic budget and financial and operational metrics, accounts payable and patient accounts receivable management.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. One year of hands-on and relevant experience in clinic/practice operations including knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Medicare, Medical, HMO/PPO, and W/C Billing & Collections required.
  2. One year of leadership experience, preferably within a large clinical organization with multi-site responsibilities required.
  3. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Health Care Administration preferred.
  4. Medical Assistant or LVN certification preferred.
  5. Knowledge of financial management, and business growth and development within a large medical group or multi-specialty practice.
  6. Excellent leadership skills including ability to think strategically, develop vision and execute for results.
  7. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance healthcare requirements.
  8. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Able to collaborate and effectively communicate with physicians and allied health professionals.
  9. Ability to make sound business decisions by analyzing financial and quality metrics as well as develop practical solutions for metric goal deviations.
  10. Strong business and financial background with a sense of urgency and a desire to achieve top line results.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $52,XXX.00 to $72,612.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
