The CVRC is entirely funded by state grants, and the Director functions under limited direction from the Dean of the law school, independently performing challenging work, coordinating multiple employees, managing conflicting priorities, overseeing marketing and communications issues, and handling extremely sensitive information (especially information relating to the crime victims served by the CVRC) with tact, discretion, and good judgment. The Director serves as Campus Security Authority (CSA) as outlined by the Clergy Act. CSAs have federally mandated responsibilities to report crimes that are reported to them. |
