Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Director of Scientific Support Services Development will be a key life sciences executive and will liaise with managing directors and account leaders to ensure successful, accelerated growth. This strategic role is focused on the development of the business aligned to organic growth through the management of product delivery and renewal activity. This role also has critical tactical responsibilities as a team collaborator and hands-on executive.

This resource will build a strong relationship with the Client Growth Sales team and the WD Products and Solutions Development organizations to ensure only appropriate and robust products and technologies are being proposed.

What this job involves:
* Act as a Trusted Advisor to Life Science Account Directors and develop/own growth from need to execution.
* Demonstrate creative thinking, ability to solve complex problems, and proactive management in bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the client. Ensure effective rollout.
* Maintain regular contact with Account Directors and other key stakeholders to keep pursuits moving ahead and closing deals.
* Grow LS Revenue and CI annually.
* Own competitive RFP and/or change control processes for account scope changes.
* Develop Account Renewal Roadmap with marketing and accounts and lead interdisciplinary teams to execute renewal strategies.
* Proactively identify innovations and/or best practices that can be applied across accounts/clients.
* Track and communicate success stories to ensure high awareness and engagement.
* Identify critical priorities for each account project and align organizational stakeholders.
* Escalate risks throughout the organization appropriately.
* Provide regular updates on opportunity pipeline to Account Directors.
* Develop and maintain growth management processes.
* Maintain a working knowledge of Work Dynamics and JLL Technology (JLLT) product and service offerings.
* Stay abreast of industry and client trends; provide inputs on pricing and future solutions.
* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree required.
* 10+ years of commercial / sales experience.
* 10+ years of life sciences experience.
* 5+ years of solutions development experience.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Depth of knowledge-demonstrates understanding of JLL business lines, the JLL technologies portfolio, WD products and services, and overall Life Sciences industry trends.
