Looking for a dynamic Salesperson to help drive international sales. Join a dedicated and fun team!

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement strategies for each assigned market to ensure that Capintec's business is maximized. Work closely with distributors to assist in implementing these strategies. Review on a regular basis and modify strategies as required.
  • Communicate performance expectations to distributors effectively. Monitor progress regularly against forecast and take actions where required.
  • Maintain records on each market to include general market information, specific market requirements, competitor activity, and any other information that would be considered important for making strategic business decisions. Input specific customer information into the company CRM.
  • Work with distributors to ensure that the CRM is fully supported and kept up to date with the latest information. Gain feedback on any lost opportunities to ensure that we take any necessary actions to change the outcome in the future.
  • Identify potential new distributors in assigned markets where Capintec does not currently have a distributor or where the current distributor is underperforming. Perform a SWOT analysis on all potential distributors and make recommendations for discussion. Assist in monitoring distributors to determine if a change in their status is necessary.
  • Feedback on specific international requirements for Capintec products to ensure local market expectations are being met. Escalate issues where necessary to ensure that the issue does not become a barrier to sale.
  • Provide remote presentations to customers to highlight the key features and benefits of Capintec products to support corporate sales growth expectations.
  • Provide product training to distributors as needed.
  • Assist with identifying potential speakers for meetings and making the necessary arrangements with the speaker to ensure high-quality content and a timely review.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, scientific talks, and training events as needed.
  • Create and provide quotes to distributors and customers as needed.
  • Assist in the development of new products for export and improvements of existing products.
  • Evaluate the performance of distributors.
  • Identify product specifications necessary to meet export market or foreign regulatory requirements.

      Skills & Experience:

      • Must be fluent in English; foreign language skills preferred.
      • Strong commercial skills, including prior sales experience necessary.
      • Industry experience required.
      • Strong written and verbal communication plus active listening skills needed.
      • Ability to effectively support and work with all levels of the organization.

      Travel & Physical Requirements:

      • Must be located in the APAC region, have easy access to a major international airport, and have no international travel restrictions to the USA, Europe, and the entire APAC region.
      • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
      • Ability to hand carry a 45-pound briefcase without wheels or assistance.
