Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a Tribal Coordinator to join our Tribal Consultation Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and effectively tracking documentation for proposed projects via the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Tower Construction Notification System (TCNS). The ideal candidate will work to establish and maintain strong, beneficial, and productive relationships with Native American Tribes.

This position reports to the Tribal Consultation Operations Manager/Tribal Monitoring Director and will be a remote, work from home opportunity. To be successful in this position, candidates must have an office/designated work area in their residence and be comfortable working in this environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Save and maintain all TCNS notifications in appropriate project workspaces
  • Prepare and send consultation letters, with appropriate support documents, for tribal representatives
  • Receive and save tribal responses to appropriate project workspaces, following up with Tribes as necessary
  • Team with the EBI Production Department to ensure timely delivery of tribal correspondence by performing regular reviews to identify and address letters on staff hold and/or pending outbound tribal checks
  • Responsible for providing the report Authors and Project Managers with status updates

Qualifications and Capabilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Native American Studies, or Archeology preferred but not required
  • Less than 2 years of professional experience in Cultural Resource Management or related field
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Organized with the ability to work on several projects concurrently
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person, as well as phone and email
  • Must work well within a team and have the desire and ability to collaborate with and support team members on a regular basis
  • Strong candidates will possess excellent technical report writing skills
