The Team

The Head of Solutions Marketing will be a key member of the Hitachi Digital Marketing Organization. This role will work across Hitachi Digital and our group companies to develop impactful marketing content and collateral for Hitachi Digital that will be used on the website, in presentations, for thought leadership. The solution content will be used in integrated marketing plans and help shape the future of our marketing asset and content portfolio. This role requires a unique blend of leadership, functional expertise, innovation, a high level of execution, and strategic thinking to thrive in our dynamic and matrixed environment.

The Role
  • Drive overall solution marketing strategy including messaging framework, asset strategy, portfolio mix. Create marketing initiative and roadmap planning, and campaign execution.
  • Understand the needs and priorities and help create comprehensive solution-based content to showcase Hitachi Digital's unique capabilities for various target audiences including customers, industry and financial analysts, and employees.
  • Identify and manage strategic collaborations with media and KOLs to position us as a leading Digital player, driving awareness and preference among key audiences.
  • Own marketing and go-to-market campaigns in various channels & formats (success stories, pitch decks, flyers, videos, etc.) to tell the Hitachi Digital story across a multitude of mediums.
  • Set up Solution Marketing input and output goals, design and track marketing metrics and always looking for ways to improve performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from business and marketing teams to deliver and organize consistent, innovative, and client-centric communications assets to support business objectives and integrate needs/specificities.
  • Strong Communicator, especially in written form.
  • Very high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong Organizational and Project Management skills.
  • Comfortable working under pressure to high standards and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others, as this is a highly collaborative endeavor requiring buy-in from multiple stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years relevant work experience in marketing. Ideally in product marketing, content marketing and/or ecommerce.
  • Expertise and understanding of technology and technology-related services is a must.
  • The ideal candidate must show ability or experience in understanding the digital technology needs & requirements of clients and the type of products and services it takes to solve them.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience communicating results to stakeholders.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
  • Experience prior success in driving execution of marketing plans with multiple teams in support of business goals.
  • Experience developing marketing strategy and messages, based on product/program strategy and business objectives.
  • Ability to use hard data and metrics from disparate data sources to measure marketing performance, determine improvements and innovations.
  • Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced workplace and deal with ongoing change and ambiguity.
As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is:
  • Tier One Location (including New York City and California Bay Area): $200k-$250k
  • Tier Two Location (including Colorado, Seattle, Boston, Austin, Raleigh and the rest of California): $175k-225k
The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital's bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
