Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our Virtual Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program.

Job Description: The Virtual Services Care Operations Supervisor for Reasons is a key member of the leadership team for Virtual Services to include Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient for adults and adolescents. This position is responsible for maintaining the Video Conferencing and Electronic Medical Record systems, scheduling of staff, establishing a positive morale, ensuring each virtual program is at optimal functioning daily. This position reports to the Director of Virtual Services and provides oversight of select staff, including interviewing, staff selection, assignments, management and training.

The Virtual Services Care Operations Manager engages in direct patient care by managing the virtual milieu, leading community meetings, therapeutic skills groups, mindfulness and wellness groups, and providing meal support, modeling appropriate eating. This position develops weekly schedules, manages time-off requests, provides orientation to new admissions, and audits medical record documentation to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory agencies. This position may carry a patient case load.

This position participates in an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience required, in counseling, psychology, nutrition, or related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience with eating disorder patients.
  • Experience in virtual mental health intensive programming, virtual milieu management, and Electronic Medical Records required.
  • Experience in eating disorder treatment required.
  • May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
