Job Duties: Direct activities through subordinate leads or supervisors to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, delivery and continuous improvement requirements. Manage Engineering department and all technical roles and responsibilities. Review plant-operating practices ensuring that both Molding and Quality standards are maintained/enhanced. Utilize best Engineering Practices and methods to provide expert technical guidance and support to Subordinates and executive team. Hire new team members, coach, and mentor existing team members. Identify training requirements to create a cross-functional team. Set timelines and ensure the team is adhering to them with one-on-one meetings and group-based meetings on a regular basis. Improve manufacturing operations processes and actively increase efficiency, reduce cost and increase manufacturing yields. Set an adequate manufacturing capacity according with customers demand, Drive the evaluation and enhancement of the product qualification process with the goal of releasing zero design defects to production. Drive DFM (Designed for Manufacturing) input to the Engineering/technical department. Assist in identifying materials for new products and optimizing materials for existing components to achieve best cost and target performance. Develop and establish functional departmental standards and practices. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $200,000.00 - $247,250.00 per annum.
