This is a full time position with day shifts, generally 6:30am-3pm, Monday through Friday and every third weekend. Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. Includes $4,000 retention incentive and $3,000 relocation assistance for eligible new hires.

The Lead Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) will be a true asset to the Chemistry and Microbiology teams at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, working both on the bench and ensuring regulations are enforced. To be successful, the Lead CLS must be technically experienced, organized and able to communicate effectively. The Lead CLS will have an extensive support system, participating in technical committee meetings with their counterparts from the other sites. The Lead CLS is a valued team member amongst the healthcare team and will also serve as a resource in training new hires and students.
