Position Highlights | The Department of Family, Community and Preventive Medicine is looking for a co-director, Oral Health - Dental to lead the Oral Health in Medicine Initiative at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
The Oral Health in Medicine Initiative (OHMI) is a funded initiative supported by the Delta Dental Arizona Foundation that intends to increase the oral and dental health knowledge of our medical students. The purpose is to improve the oral health of their future patients and, ultimately, patients' overall health and wellness. The OHMI has a strong focus on health equity and community engagement and will involve oral health equity service learning and scholarly work. The successful candidate will fulfill the responsibilities of a faculty member in an appropriate department, actively participate in teaching, clinical service and/or scholarly work, and must qualify for an appointment at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor.
