CLA is currently seeking a Tax Manager/Director to join our Healthcare practice.

How you'll create opportunities in this Tax Manager/Director role:

  • In-charge complex tax engagements and work with our family members respond to tax questions from other members of the firm, research difficult tax issues, offer suggestions for tax planning and proper structuring of transactions, and analyze new developments to provide explanations and planning pointers to CLA professionals
  • Bring extensive experience in an accounting or law firm, focusing on providing technical guidance in the areas of US partnership tax, tax reporting forms and procedures
  • Understand how to read and apply complex operating agreements, review waterfall calculations and understand complexities related to partner capital account maintenance
  • Be prepared to present internal webcasts and lead other internal tax education sessions within the firm for industry specific purposes

What you will need:

  • 6+ years of experience including extensive knowledge of US partnership taxation
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)
  • Advanced technical knowledge of tax concepts with the ability to leverage this knowledge to various situations
