Services Product Manager, Staff

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Juniper Networks is seeking a business-oriented Services Product Manager to join the services portfolio team. This highly visible team builds and manages the Juniper Global Services portfolio across professional and advanced services, maintenance, and support. This role will focus on campus & branch solutions including services automation to develop products to drive best customer support experience. An ideal candidate for this role would combine business acumen with a disciplined approach, to identify opportunities to create unique value, then turn it into a solid performing solution that makes a meaningful contribution to Juniper's business.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a deep understanding of our campus & branch services portfolio as well as customer services automation strategy.
  • Become an expert on requirements for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Evangelize the value of the solution to build awareness internally and externally.
  • Understand our business, what creates value, what solutions are economically viable, define priorities and articulate commercial cases for decisions.
  • Translate business objectives into opportunities for innovation, including business models through functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop Services product offerings from ideation to final product - including all aspects of like business case analysis, delivery alignment, sales & marketing collateral, business performance, etc.
  • Drive service adoption & growth through effective go-to-market activities working with sales and marketing team
  • Develop new services leveraging AI/LLM & automation capabilities as and where applicable.
    • Identify automation & AI application opportunities in services offerings.
    • Work closely with development and subject matter expert teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
    • Guide/Manage the product development process from ideation to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
    • Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive user interfaces and experiences that drive customer satisfaction and adoption.
    • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, release plans, and feature prioritization frameworks.
    • Drive feature enhancements with internal teams based on roadmap and requirements.
    • Monitor and analyze key service metrics and performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling collateral, demos, and presentations to showcase product value and differentiation.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working experience in product management or similar function.
  • Experience in process mapping and specification documentation.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and discussion sessions.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining system processes and procedures.
  • Experience in creating business cases for services or technology-related solutions.
  • Knowledgeable of campus & branch technologies, customer services support process, data, portal, automation & integration methods
  • Previous experience preferred in Software/Automation, Cloud or SaaS product management.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Leadership ability, to drive diverse multifunctional project teams to achieve your goals
  • Strong time management skills, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex and nuanced material to audiences ranging from executive to technical and operational at all levels.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones as needed to engage with all global stakeholders.
  • Familiar with concepts of network automation and emerging technologies like AI/ML and LLM
  • Familiar with Agile/CIDC development frameworks & cloud concepts (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure)

Minimum Salary: $159,200.00

Maximum Salary:$228,850.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $159,200.00 and $228,850.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
