Why This Job

Deliver the steel that builds America and be home nightly for the moments that matter! Come be the backbone that holds our local logistics department together by picking up and delivering fabricated post-tension cables, rebar, scrap, and other materials. Most drivers will be driving locally and home nightly.

We ask that you have the following qualifications and experience:

  • 2-3 years CDL driving experience
  • Valid CDL A
  • Clean driving record:no at-fault accidents or traffic violations within the past 3 years preferred
  • Ability to accurately complete delivery paperwork
  • Operate industry-relevant technologies such as mobile smart phones and vehicle e-logs
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and customers
  • Ensure vehicles are properly and securely loaded (tarping may be involved when driving a straight truck)
  • Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Successfully pass a company road test and have a clean driving record
  • Ability to work outside and lift heavy loads
  • Willingness to learn, tackle new challenges, and work well with a team or independently
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
