Job Description

Essential Functions:

Strategic Advice and Partnership:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop long term financial plans

  • Lead performance diagnostics, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting

  • Develop and present strategic insights about the business leveraging financial analysis

  • Align on goals and strategies to broader global initiatives and become a trusted business partner

  • Standardize Product / Technology investment and M&A Integration Budget management processes

Financial Management:

  • Establish financial measures, communicate, and drive accountability with business and finance team to achieve financial objectives

  • Enable management by providing timely, accurate information - interpret and present key findings for senior leadership

  • Understand business drivers and recommend actions to further improve results and advance analytical insights

  • Lead annual business plan, quarterly forecasts and analysis across a globally matrixed organization

Project Management:

  • Spearhead ad-hoc projects to improve the overall performance of the team and organization(s)

  • Decision support to senior finance leadership on investment / project decisions as well as strategic organizational and functional developments

  • Provide thought leadership and guidance over core processes, building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables

  • Manage and continuously improve finance processes and analysis, including monthly and quarterly performance reporting, and quarterly and annual forecasts/budget

  • Partner with Finance and Financial Systems teams to simplify revenue reporting and automate financial reporting

Business Engagement:

  • Integration of finance as a key business partner - understand and support business initiatives

  • Tailored, effective presentations, analysis, and engagement with business partners

  • Timely, meaningful perspectives on the business

  • Prioritization on hiring and spend to optimize budget, investments and return-on-investment discipline

  • Robust toolkit to help manage the business and enable management decision making

People Management:

  • Attract, recruit, and grow top talent in the Finance organization

  • Mentor and manage a team of high performing finance members by helping to create a center of excellence and instilling best practices across finance

  • Influence, motivate and collaborate with key business partners and stakeholders

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
*12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10
years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA
/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
*15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with
9+ years of experience
*Experience leading a Financial Planning & Analysis (or similar) team with a
thorough understanding of financial accounting and management reporting,
and achieving results
*Highly analytical background and extensive experience with financial and
operating systems strongly preferred
*Proactive, strategic thinker with strong project management skills
*Superior problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively with
executive management
*Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output
*Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
*Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the
operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results
*Client focused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts and drive outcomes
*High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple, global
stakeholders
*Able to work in a global, matrix-reporting environment

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 181,800.00 to 284,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
