Senior Consultant (Multiple Positions Available)

Work as a lead JAVA developer involved in design, development, and deployment of highly performant MicroServices and Single Page Applications (SPA) to modern cloud environment(s).

Apply scientific and technological knowledge, methods, and experience to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of complex software systems.

Own and manage applications in production, and be accountable for the success of the digital products through achieving KPIs.

Develop REST APIs using Java & Sprint Boot including documentation tools (Swagger, REST-docs, Openapi spec), versioning, service discovery/registration, testing and management.

Work on Web and API security including authentication, authorization, OAuth, and SAML.

Perform backend development design and implementation: database (relational, NoSQL, caching), messaging (e.g. Kafka), integration framework (Apache Camel) and work with data via data constructs (XML, JSON, AVRO).

Build, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain production code for complex Web and cloud-based applications using JavaScript, Node, CSS, HTML, and frameworks such as Backbone, Angular, or React/Redux, and libraries and tools such as JQuery and Bootstrap.

Use distributed version control systems (Git), artifact management systems, build and packaging systems (Maven, Gradle, NPM, Artifactory, etc.) and continuous integration tools.

Lead an Agile environment (Scrum or XP preferred) using Continuous Integration/Delivery.

Test Driven Development, including testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, and other technologies.

Ensure reusability of existing assets for cost reduction & improved efficiency.

Ensure delivery of quality standards by adhering to Java and MicroServices best practices.

May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related. Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Java; Spring Boot; Spring Integration; Web Services; Servlets; JavaScript; Apache Kafka; Hibernate; and Oracle.

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40. hrs/wk. Salary: $139,464 - 140,464 per year.
