Title: Manager, Tax and Treasury
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Term: Full-Time
Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced hands-on Tax and Treasury Manager to join our finance team. The role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's tax and treasury functions, including sales and use tax, multi-state tax, all tax compliance, and other related areas.
This role is full-time, on-site at our Santa Clara location.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state tax laws and regulations, including nexus determination and apportionment analysis.
  • Oversee the accurate calculation, reporting, and remittance of direct and indirect taxes, in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop and implement processes and controls to ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations including cross functional collaboration to assess tax implications on Company's new offerings.
  • Own the review of Transfer Pricing and ensure appropriate set-ups in NetSuite to handle Inter-Company transactions.
  • Support the preparation and review of monthly Inter-Company transactions in line with established Transfer Pricing agreements.
  • Manage and direct the outside firm with the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including federal, state, and local income taxes, sales and use taxes, and other business taxes.
  • Own the compiling of all information requirements to support the Income Tax provision and positions on various complex tax matters including R&D Tax Credits, NOL's.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, analyze their impact on the company's operations and financial position.
  • Support and manage any tax audits and inquiries from various tax authorities.
  • Provide guidance and training to the finance team and business leaders on sales and use tax matters.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Controller and other departments, including legal, to ensure effective integration of tax and treasury considerations into business processes and decision-making.
  • Support cash management and provide weekly cash forecasting to the CFO.
  • Manage banking relationships and negotiate terms for banking services and credit facilities.
  • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree (e.g., preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax and treasury management.
  • Ability to manage outside vendors and service providers while managing the budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, as well as treasury management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work at all levels within the Company.
Salary Range & Benefits:
Salary Range $140,000 - $160,000.00. Your base salary and title will be determined based on the location, experience, qualifications, skills, knowledge, level, and pay of employees in similar positions.
