Rotary Wing and Tiltrotor Operations Analyst

As a Rotary Wing and Tiltrotor Operations Analyst, you'll bring your consulting, analytical, tactical, technical, DOTMLPF and, JCIDS expertise to work on projects for the Marine Corps. You'll provide analytical support and continuity to rotary wing and tiltrotor operational planning efforts. You'll participate in Operational Planning Teams (OPT) to analyze rotary wing and tiltrotor aviation contributions to operational plans, theater security cooperation, and theater exercise support and provide meaningful feedback during discussions to achieve optimal support to client. You'll promulgate analysis of the rotary wing and tiltrotor training and exercise employment program (TEEP), future operations readiness, and training and readiness-related practices and standards and assess the current and future ability to attain them within targeted fiscal resources. Provide fiscal analysis of the respective training or readiness value derived from the theater security cooperation exercises and recommend exercise prioritization based on costs, training value, and enduring value. Monitor currency of assigned OPLANs and CONPLANs to ensure updates are incorporated and coordinated with higher, adjacent, and subordinate commands. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes.

You Have:

  • Experience as a MV-22, AHk-1, UH-1Y, or CH-53 pilot
  • Knowledge of sensors and communication equipment for rotary or tiltrotor aircraft
  • Knowledge of Marine exercise planning
  • Knowledge of Force Design
  • Ability to correlate exercise participation into aviation readiness attainment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a test pilot
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition process
  • Knowledge of test and evaluation plans
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Master's degree
  • Graduate of United States Naval Test Pilot School (NTPS) or United States Air Force Test Pilot School (AFTPS)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
