We'd love to have you join us as a Lactation Consultant. Serving at UCLA Health will give you the opportunity to use your specialized abilities to help improve the lives of new mothers, their babies, and their families. Major duties include provision of Lactation Consultant services to inpatient mothers on the post-partum unit and mothers of infants in the NICU. Services include direct assessment, planning, intervening and evaluating of lactation services, development of relevant policies and procedures, education for the health team, and participation in discharge planning and follow-up activities related to lactation consultation services.
Salary Range: $31.03 - $65.90/hour
Qualifications
Current IBCLC and BLS certification, required
1 year experience, preferred
NICU experience, preferred
Demonstrate an understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations
Ability to organize and prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner
