What We Do

This position contributes to the overall administration of the company's employee benefit programs and acts as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries. In addition, this role participates in administration of the many health and wellbeing programs and projects within the department.

This role will be hybrid, 3 days per week onsite in Santa Ana, CA.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in administration of the company's healthcare plans and wellness programs, including but not limited to assisting employees with benefits coverage, developing, and distributing employee communication and education programs.
  • Oversees employee escalations with the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data as needed.
  • Assists with annual enrollment process as needed.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee information presentations, enrollments, and other related educational sessions regarding benefit programs.
  • Coordinate and administer activities involving company's paid time-off programs.
  • Prepare, distribute, and maintain benefits description booklets, annual statements, and certificates.
  • Act as liaison between company and various insurance carriers and plan administrators.
  • Remain current on all government regulations involving payroll and benefits, including HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, ACA, and ADA.
  • Compile periodic and special reports on benefits matters for senior HR management.
  • Support leave of absence and worker's compensation tasks as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in benefits, wellbeing, absence, or worker's compensation
  • Knowledge of employee health and welfare benefit plans, including medical, dental, prescription, account-based plans, life/AD&D, disability, and ancillary offerings; both self-funded and fully insured arrangements preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills; results oriented; effective problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate with employees comfortably and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, diagnose potential problems and identify and implement solutions.
  • Excellent computer/technical skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Workday)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and demands.

Pay Range: $24.30- $33.30 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
