Job Summary
The Senior Advisor will work with the Chief of Staff to implement then manage a new operating model across the organization with the following goals in mind: (i) empowering leaders closer to the work to design and drive change; (ii) localizing decision-making to meet unique needs; (iii) creating clarity in how/who/where decisions are made; and (iv) aligning performance expectations and accountabilities across the enterprise. With this new model, the Senior Advisor will also help ensure major UCSF Health initiatives to advance clinical, operational and strategic goals are implemented in efficient collaboration with the UCSF Health leadership team and School of Medicine (SOM) leadership. A key aspect of this work is ensuring alignment of the health system's clinical and business strategies with the work of the School of Medicine. The Senior Advisor works closely and in support of key enterprise stakeholders, including members of the Senior Leadership Counsel, Medical Directors, and SOM administration. With the Chief of Staff, the Senior Advisor will help drive UCSF Health strategic initiatives and build and manage UCSF administration performance reporting.
Primary responsibility is the day-to-day management of UCSFH governance; in support of the System Executive Team, Senior Leadership Council (SLC), and Medical Directors, advance the priorities of the entire UCSF Health organization

The Senior Advisor position sits within the UCSF Health Office of the CEO, which advances the goals and priorities of the CEO - working with UCSF Health leadership and in collaboration with School of Medicine and Campus leadership.
