To support this challenge, Syngenta's Marketing team is currently seeking a Digital Agriculture Solutions Marketing Lead in Greensboro, NC.

The Digital Agriculture Solutions (DAS) Marketing Lead role will lead the development of DAS marketing offers and strategies featuring Cropwise digital tools and services, contribute to the development of the DAS 5 Year Marketing Plan and develop strategies for inclusion in the Commercial Unit (CU) campaigns to drive business results.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead development of DAS marketing offers and programs to implement the DASstrategyconsistently across Product Marketing, CU Marketing, KAM (KeyAccount Management) and Sales to embed digital strategies into the commercial unit campaigns.
  • Developmarketing materials, conduct Advertising and Promotional activities and attend trade shows todriveawarenessof Syngenta's Cropwise ecosystem and associated capabilities and benefits to channel partners and growers.
  • Developexcellentvaluepropositions and positioning for Cropwise Protector and Cropwise Imagery for growers, channel partners andindependentadvisors.
  • Ensurealignmentbetween Global Digital Agriculture (DA) and DAS teams in regard to proof of concept and pilot projects.
  • Lead development of the DAS 5 Year Marketing Plan and GTM strategies.
  • Leadcollaborationacross adiversegroup ofcross functionalstakeholders to establish effective ways of working andcommunicationto ensure delivery of key DAS projects with on target completion dates; request the necessary resources to take remedial action when off track.
  • Explore anddriveDASvalueoffer enhancements and delivery platforms tocreatenewvaluefor grower and channel partners.
  • Monitor the digitalcompetitivelandscape, complete and maintain current digitalcompetitiveprofiles andsupportsCU Marketing and Commercial teams withcompetitiveintel.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (preferably in an agricultural or business-related field).
  • A minimum of 5yearsof marketing and/or sales experience, preferably in Ag related.
  • Up to 30% domestic travel isrequiredfor this role.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorshipsupportfrom Syngenta.

Preferred:

  • Comprehension and utilization of the Marketing and SalesExcellence(MaSE) methodology.
  • Excellentunderstandingof agronomic assessment, crop production, utilization of farmmanagementsystems, effective stewardship practices and ag distribution channelalignment.
  • Demonstratedleadership, consensusbuilding, andanalyticalskills complimented byexcellentwritten, oralcommunicationand presentation ability, including theconfidenceandcompetencetoinfluenceSeniorManagementthinking and gain approval ofinnovativeideas.
  • Acute business acumen with validated ability to comprehend business drivers,challengesand potential obstacles anddevelopeffectivesolutionsemploying Syngenta digitaltoolsorservicestocreatevalueadded programs and offers.
  • Proficiency incustomerfocusedaccount managementactivities such as: identifying potentialgrowthopportunities; conducting thorough and accurateneedsassessments and experience in developing and implementingsuccessfulgo-to-market strategies.
